Ready to start a path to wellness? Many people express a desire to develop a wellness routine, but often feel daunted by the unknown.

The supportive professionals at Lake Burien Physical Therapy are here to help. Their next six week meditation series is designed specifically to introduce or re-introduce a variety of meditation styles so that you can find the practice that is best for you.

This Thursday evening series is presented by Amy Castillo beginning March 9.

Thursday Evening Meditation Series (7-8 PM)
This series will help you to listen and trust the intuition and instinct that are your inner wisdom. Amy has studied a variety of styles throughout the wisdom traditions and with modern teachers coming from a scientific brain health perspective. The intention of this series is to share with you a variety of styles of meditation to support you in finding the style that best resonates with you. This 6-week class will dispel myths about meditation, show you that everyone can meditate and help you discover the right practice for you, in a supportive and informative environment. 6-week series is $75-Class is limited, so reserve your spot today! March/April Dates: March 9, 16, 23, 30 April 6 & 20

Gentle Restorative yoga, led by Karn Junkinsmith can help. Come discover the benefits of stretching and release. These classes are structured around rejuvenating and healing the body. One on One attention for each student to accommodate your limitations. All props will be supplied to allow the body to fully achieve each position comfortably. This class is held at a pace that is appropriate for each student and focuses on stretching all areas of the body, while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles. Appropriate for all levels! Cost: $10 for a drop-in session, or $90 for a 10-class punch card, which you may purchase on their website at www.lakeburienpt.com/wellness/yoga/   Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8-9 AM and Monday/Wednesday 5:30-6:30PM
