Burien resident Cynthia Alcaraz and her husband Jose (pictured above) were victims of a burglary at their apartment recently, and all they really want back is a precious, keepsake Bible.

“Our home was broken into last night while we were away and a few things were stolen,” Cynthia told The B-Town Blog. “Things that can easily be replaced except for this one item – before my mother-in-law passed away (I never got the chance to meet her) she gave my husband a beautiful all white Bible in a wooden box. This Bible means the world to my husband. He is and will always be a momma’s boy. I don’t care for the other things that were taken except for this one.”

Also inside the box was also a picture of Jose’s late Mom.

Here are photos of a similar Bible:

If you have any information about this missing Bible, please contact Burien Police at (206) 477-2200, case #C17014131.
