UPDATE SUNDAY, APRIL 23, 2017 8:40 p.m.: The shooting suspect from Saturday night’s shooting in Burien has been caught near S. 100th Street an 14th Ave South, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect is a 35-year old Seattle man, police said.

“We stopped him in his car,” Sgt. Cindi West told The B-Town Blog.

Reports were that the motive for the shooting was an argument over a stolen camera.

PREVIOUSLY:

The King County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a 49-year old man was shot multiple times in Burien Saturday night, April 22.

The shooting took place in the 13300 block of 14th Ave South (map below).

Police say the suspect is known by the victim, and the shooting was not random.

The victim is in serious to stable condition.
