Tonight at Marlaina’s Mediterranean Kitchen, Musa is serving a rare treat: sautéed Beef Livers:

The dish consists of free-range Angus Beef sautéed in olive oil with scallions, tomato, fresh chili peppers, garlic, ginger root, coriander and dried chili.

It isn’t super spicy but it is extremely flavorful.

It will come served with a squeeze of lemon and salad.

Shelli and I just shared the dish and it was awesome!

Plus, Musa serves the best tasting water in Burien.

He filters his in a Kangen filter.

Marlaina’s Mediterranean Kitchen is located at 643 SW 152nd Street in downtown Burien:

As a liver-lover, with a liver-loving lady friend, I need to have more than same day notice for this kind of treat. Just plain liver-and-onions, properly prepared, would also get us there early and often!

I love this new feature. Keep it up Johnny Restaurant!

Next stop for Johnny Restaurant: Burien Fish house. They’ll exchange a free meal for a write up and their Fish tacos are fantastic.
