WABI Burien: Seattle Strides through Burien East and West May 23 & 25

From our friends at WABI Burien:

We hope you’ve saved the date to join the Seattle Sound Striders on their 3 days of walks south of Seattle, two of the days here in Burien: May 23, 24 and 25 (as we first reported HERE). (The Sound Striders are affiliated with Seattle Parks & Recreation.) Walkers may take part in all, some or part of these walks, depending on their ability.

From the Seattle Sound Striders’ Web Site:

Striders’ 3-Day walk 2017:  South of Seattle

There’s more south of Seattle than Sea-Tac Airport and Southcenter Mall! And that’s what we will explore on our Strider’s 3-Day Walk on May 23, 24 and 25.

From Burien’s water’s edge on Puget Sound to the banks of the Green River in Tukwila, we’ll walk this mix of residential, commercial, and green areas including 23 different parks, greenways, gardens, trails, and a golf course. We’ll end each day with our famous Happy Hour.
