So much good information, I’m still processing it all. Appreciated learning more about Hospitality House’s work, and also a really good short presentation from the lady on Auburn’s task force with lots of info from that community’s experience.

Was thinking that another resource provider it would be good to bring to the round table might be someone from WorkSource at South Seattle College, which provides free job search training, resume help, etc.

I wish the people who gave this post a thumbs down would post what they are disagreeing with. Was the information not good in their opinion? Are they saying that they don’t want to help any of the homeless at all? What are they saying? Who knows?

It was just a study session, not a regular meeting, so the meeting was informal with lots of dialog, and there wasn’t a packet but some presenters were going to get back to people with answers to their specific questions, and some had a handout or summary of their presentation data that they passed to the mayor (if I remember right). The guy that writes articles about the council will probably transcribe it and have all the bullet points, but it was a lot digest, with a fair number of speakers. Also, they may not like that I didn’t post under my given name. I’ll flag stuff that way when it seems to have gone into the area of attacking the person instead of discussing the issue.
