Two students were found to be in possession of a fake weapon and other contraband at Highline High School on Wednesday, May 24, according to Principal Vicki Fisher.

Initial reports of a student with a weapon resulted in the discovery and response from security and police, and immediate disciplinary action was taken.

“The safety of our students and staff is always our first priority and therefore we take immediate action on any report of a threat,” Fisher said. “We encourage students to report any safety concern they may have.”

  1. Fake weapons? And they don’t feel the need to have a description of the fake weapons. Was it a old time non working firearm or replica grenade, practice fencing swords,Finger guns or paper football . What the hell was the other contraband firecrackers/adult magazines drugs gang nonsense.

  2. Maybe a pic of it so we can be informed what’s actually out there. But that’s the farthest they will go as to not tarnish the image. Maybe some photos of the MS 13 gang graffiti thats popping up all over the campus would be informative too.
