VIDEO: Medivac helicopter takes off from Burien’s Lakeview Park Saturday

On Saturday afternoon (June 10) a medivac helicopter landed, then took off from Burien’s Lakeview Park (422 SW 160th Street), where it transported a patient from Highline Medical Center another, unknown facility.

This park’s southern grassy field has been used as an emergency staging area for the hospital for a while, but now that the park also serves as home to a Dog Park it makes for an interesting spectacle.

Here’s video of the chopper landing and taking off (thanks Mike!) – be sure to view it at its highest 4k resolution if you can!:

(no word yet on the condition of the patient, but we sure hope they’re okay!)

Hey Liljo – I ALSO went to school there, and Lakeview Elementary – I had Mr Peterman for 6th grade – – my last year was in 1969 – 1970 – before going on to Sylvester Jr High, and then to Highline High — Jeffrey
