REMINDER: It’s Wild Strawberry Festival & Father’s Day Car Show weekend!

Festivities start at and around Burien Town Square Park on Saturday, June 17 (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.), and Sunday, June 18 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.).

You’ll enjoy a weekend filled with fun, with a variety of live entertainment, food booths, crafts, and exhibits – and don’t forget to get some fresh strawberry shortcake!

On Sunday, bring Dad to the Father’s Day Car Show and Chili Cook-off next to Town Square on SW 152nd Street.

Both events are FREE, and Town Square Park is located at SW 152nd Street & 5th Place SW.

Sunday’s Car show is now in its 14th year, and is the perfect date with Dad. Beautifully restored classic cars and their present-day cousins line SW 152nd Street in downtown Burien.

Don’t miss out on the festivities for all events that weekend including activities for all ages: the Touch-A-Truck, a variety of vendors, Food, Music, Performers, the Chili-Cook-Off and of course the great cars!

Here’s the schedule:

Also, be sure to drop by the Art Alley (between SW 152nd & SW 153rd just south of Town Square Park) for the 3rd annual NW Mural Masters event this weekend, featuring several local graffiti and street artists from the Northwest and beyond!

Some of the artists include They Drift, Hews, Tars, 179, Apaul, Sneke, and more.

There will be live painting on Saturday and Sunday, including a wall for kids to paint.
