With Burien’s annual 4th of July Parade just one week away, you’ll want to check out Camp Crockett, proudly celebrating their second location right here in Burien.

Owners Joe and Vanessa Crevling invite you to visit their location at 626 SW 154th Street and enjoy one of their 47 parking spaces while you take in our hometown Independence Day Parade. First come, first served… the parking is absolutely free! It’s their way of saying “We’re here!…and really excited to be part of the neighborhood.”

Camp Crockett is now offering Dog Day Camp in the former location of the Highline Fitness and Swim club, which some may recall had a very unique retracting roof cover, allowing for outdoor swim fun during the summer months. That unusual design has made the building a perfect place to create Camp Crockett’s second location, fitting their business motto “It’s not day care, it’s day camp!… Let your dog run!” The new space offers 6,000 square feet of outdoor play area where the pups can run around and enjoy themselves. They also offer an indoor/outdoor play area with lots of cushions for tired campers and plenty of toys for everyone.

Canine campers can also enjoy grooming and boarding, delivered by a dedicated team with more than 30 years of experience in the dog-day-care field. Camp Crockett opened its West Seattle location in North Delridge more than two and a half years ago with the idea of offering something beyond the average dog day care. Instead, when your pup joins the pack at their ‘camp themed’ dog day camp they can play and romp to their hearts’ delight.

Named after the Crevling’s Bluetick Coonhound “Crockett,” Camp Crockett also provides an ‘at home’ feel for their overnight campers. Instead of spending the evening in a kennel, your pup will enjoy snuggling on the couch with team leaders who live on site.

Camp Crockett is open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday-Friday, with all services available on the weekend by appointment. Their telephone number is 206.708.1178.

Join us in welcoming this new business and enjoy their gracious hospitality while you take in the parade:
