The 14/48 Projects returns with ‘Coyote Tails’ – its FREE annual Summer Park Show for children and adults alike at 2 p.m. this Saturday, July 22!

This play will be performed outside in Burien’s Dottie Harper Park.

Here’s the synopsis:

The mischievous Coyote encounters many different animals along their path, and delights in misleading and deceiving them. Adapted from Southwestern Navajo stories, the show follows Coyote as they race around the world, talk to stars, and “borrows” fire (although some would say they stole it). But when Coyote gets lost, they must trust new and different friends.

Written by Zoey Cane Belyea with Story Consulting and Translations by Pilar O’Connell. Directed by Emily Purington. Costumes designed by Corinne Magin. Featuring Rob Billups Jr., Alysha Curry, Zenaida Rose Smith, Olivia Sterne and Sarah Winsor.

“All performances are FREE but donations to support our artists are encouraged and accepted.”

NOTE: There will also be second performance on Saturday, July 29 at New Start School’s Pea Patch, also at 2 p.m.

Coyote Tails is supported in part by a generous grant from 4Culture.

Dottie Harper Park is located at 421 SW 146th Street:
