Burien Police and King County Sheriff’s officers responded to a domestic violence call – with a gun involved – early Friday morning, Aug. 4.

Police surrounded a house in the 400 block of S. 152nd Street near Highline High School (map below), where they believed a suspect was barricaded alone and summoned TAC30 units. After obtaining a search warrant, TAC30 took the suspect in to custody without any issue.

The suspect, a 26-year old male, was booked in to King County Jail for weapons violations.

No one was injured during the domestic or arrest, Sgt. BJ Myers said.

During the search of the house, detectives also discovered a suspected marijuana grow operation that will be investigated further.
