Highline High School holding Climate & Culture Planning Session Thursday night

Highline High School students, families and community supporters are coming together this Thursday, Aug. 10, to create a plan for a positive school climate and culture.

The first of two sessions will be held that night from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., and is open to all who want to participate in a positive movement towards a stronger, more unified and equitable Highline.

At the first session, participants will prioritize school needs and input gathered from previous meetings. Participants will also form committees that will develop action plans addressing school climate and culture.

A second session will be scheduled to launch the organization and implementation of action items.

The goal is to ensure that every student is safe, accepted and celebrated.
