Race Registration is now OPEN for the 2017 Burien Brat Trot – coming Sunday, Oct. 1 – with early registration deals available through Aug. 31! This local, grassroots fundraiser event will run from Noon – 6 p.m. in Olde Burien. All proceeds benefit the Highline Schools Foundation (The B-Town Blog is a Sponsor). The Family Registration discount is available for both the 5K and short course races, and the Corporate Team Challenge is back this year for groups of 10 or more representing the same organization. You can also register in person on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 1-4 p.m. on the corner of 10th Ave SW and SW 152nd Street in Olde Burien, and Sunday, Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the same spot!  See you at the 2017 Brat Trot!The course: BOTH COURSES (5k and one mile) begin at the corner of 10th and 152nd street. The 5k (USTAF certified) circles Lake Burien. The one mile race heads the same direction as the 5k start–and does a mid-course turn around for an out and back fun run! Both courses finish right where they started—and the corner of 10th and 152nd—in the heart of the Brat Trot Bavarianfest! Parking is available in and around Olde Burien. 152nd Street is closed between Ambuam and 10th Avenue for Bavarianfest–but plenty of parking is available on on surrounding side streets. Also, Olde Burien is just a short walk from Burien Towne Square (6th Ave SW and SW 152nd Street) where parking is bountiful.
