Burien City Councilmember Nancy Tosta – who is up for reelection – wants our Readers to know that she will be holding tw ‘Coffee Chats’ this Saturday, Aug. 26:

There was a time I was doing “coffee chats” around town in various coffee shops.

I’ve been asked if I’d do it again and so this weekend, I will be at two places on Saturday.

I’ll have an hour at High 5 Pie (11620 Ambaum Blvd SW) at 9 a.m., and then an hour or two at Pickled & Preserved Market and Deli (546 SW 152nd Street) starting around Noon.

Feel free to drop by, say hi, ask about Council doings, and/or let me hear your Burien ideas.

I’ll continue doing it if there’s interest.

Looking forward to seeing you.

How about you make it clear you don’t support heroin injection sites in Burien!

Thank you for doing this… for being available to Burien folks. I – we – appreciate your commitment to this town.

I have always been impressed by your willingness to listen to the citizens of Burien. I have witnessed you show up to meetings where you knew you would be criticized. While there you were respectful and attentive. Thank you for your service.
