Each year features a unique, musical experience, noteworthy artists and unforgettable performances.”

Join us for our 20th annual concert that will weave compositions drawn from our lives, inspired by the unique era we are living in, and written to embrace and celebrate our interconnectedness.

Composed by Mateo Messina, and performed by the NW Symphony Orchestra conducted by Anthony Spain with special musical guests Rogue Wave. Epoch will deliver surprises, beauty, and unity, as we celebrate an Epoch laden with possibilities.

Over our lifetime, we have been fortunate to witness some of the most profound changes to impact humankind. Humans have existed for some 200,000 years, civilization took hold within the past 6,000 years, industry developed over the last few hundred years, and soon after, scientists discovered immunotherapy.

Today, we’ve begun to cure patients of cancers such as Leukemia by advancing immunotherapy. Today, a new epoch has dawned, and children are being cured right here at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

With generally less than 100 years on Earth, what will be our individual legacies? When future generations look back on us, what will they note as significant for our time in history? What are our unique contributions, big or small?

Epoch is all about possibilities. It’s about being enough just as we are, and it is about inspiring strength and supporting one another as we navigate through the beauty and uncertainty that are inescapable hallmarks of life. It’s about love for those we know, and those we don’t, including the incredible young people fighting nearly impossible odds, and the doctors working tirelessly to rid the world of illness.

It is about being a part of a greater whole, as we journey through this Epoch of hope, possibility and opportunity, with love as our guide.
