‘Calling all Wieners!’ Dogs needed for Wiener Dog races this Saturday!

Discover Burien is currently looking for four-legged canine registrants for its Wiener Dog races, part of the annual ‘Boo In Burien’ being held this Saturday, Oct. 28.

The race starts at 3:30 p.m. in Burien Town Square Park, immediately following the dog costume parade.

“Whether your dog is a sure-bet or a looong shot, enter them to win this fun event!”

Registration is only $5 and covers the costs of hosting this event, and applications can be found online here (PDF file), or dropped off in person at the Discover Burien office at 427 SW 152nd Street.

Also, be sure to enjoy the FREE, annual ‘Boo In Burien’ event this Saturday from Noon – 4 p.m. Downtown Burien will be loaded with tons of family-friendly neighborhood activities, and a safe environment for trick or treating.

Following the ‘Boo In Burien’ will be the NEW Creepy Crawlers Pub Crawl, starting at 6 p.m. with a MEGA costume contest! Grand prize winner gets $1,000! Passports for the Pub Crawl will be sold during the Boo In Burien Event at the big orange Discover Burien tent.
