If you’re wondering what all the police activity was on/near SW 152nd Street in Olde Burien Tuesday night (Nov. 7), Burien Police/King County Sheriff’s Office reports that it was because deputies pulled over a car with stolen license plates.

Police say they detained the occupants without incident, but we heard that it required a large amount of officers, including possibly the Guardian One helicopter.

One Reader asked us:

“Do you know what’s happening just west of 152nd??! In Olde Burien? I just walked from Classic Eats area and saw 12-14 cops going down and a helicopter overhead.”

Another said:

“I turned on 152nd and there were like 7 police cars on side of road by Humble Vine. Than I parked and they all plus 4 more drove past 10th.”
