King County Executive Dow Constantine – who we last saw when he held a press conference at Burien Town Square on Oct. 30 – released the following statement on Tuesday, Nov. 14 about the Burien City Council election:
“Congratulations to Pedro Olguin, Jimmy Matta, Krystal Marx, and Nancy Tosta – the new Burien City Council majority.
“Despite the attempts of white nationalist groups and fear-mongers, this fall at the ballot box, the residents of Burien made their voices heard, demonstrating once again that hate has no home here and that all are welcome in King County.”
