Real Estate Sponsor Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Northwest Real Estate recently completed its 2017 Diaper Drive to benefit TreeHouse, and received a record 33,1147 Diapers!
“Thank you Burien, Normandy Park, and everyone in surrounding areas who supported the Diaper Drive to benefit TreeHouse this year,” Branch Manager Tay Krull said. “This was our fourth year conducting this Diaper Drive for TreeHouse and every year I’m humbled and inspired by the support from the community.”
This year they received a record breaking 33,147 diapers – up from last year’s total of 13,215 diapers – a 250% increase!
“We had people from the community flood our office with diapers, some dropping in and handing off diapers in person and some were shipped directly from Amazon to the office,” Tay added. “We also had record breaking numbers of people donate cash and diapers at our booth at the Normandy Park Tree Lighting event, and again record breaking cash donations at our office during our annual Santa Pictures at the office.”
Record breaking was the theme this year for just about everything they did thanks to area residents.
“We are still the only bulk supply of diapers TreeHouse will receive during the year and I can say they were absolutely blown away by how many diapers were delivered to them this year. Thank You!”
