On Tuesday (Dec. 19) the King County Sheriff’s Office/Burien Police Department helped Puyallup Police arrest three robbery suspects at a car rental company located at S. 140th an 1st Ave South in Burien (map below).

A large police turnout – including a Tactical/SWAT Team since the suspects were armed – responded and arrested the suspects without incident.

Police say that the suspects were involved in an earlier armed robbery at an AT&T store in the City of Puyallup. They fled the scene in a rental car that investigators had found was scheduled to be returned that afternoon in Burien.

So police waited for them to return their rental car, and a 33-year-old Tacoma man and a 37-year-old Tacoma woman were taken into custody without incident.

The Puyallup Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate this incident.
