The King County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that just after 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23, a deputy saw a hit and run occur near S. 124th Street and Des Moines Memorial Drive (map below).

Police say that the suspect vehicle took off, and a short distance from the accident four occupants fled the vehicle.

“We captured the driver and have a couple more possible occupants detained,” Sgt. Cindi West told The B-Town Blog.

During the search for the suspects, a deputy thought he heard a gunshot.

“We did find a gun during the search,” West added. “No indication that they were shooting at us. All appear to to be juveniles.”

Police are checking to see if the vehicle is an unreported stolen.
