Police serve warrant, find suspect hiding in attic crawlspace, buried in insulation

If you saw or heard police and SWAT team type activity near SW 128th Street & 6th Ave SW in Burien (map below) on Saturday, Feb. 17, the King County Sheriff’s Office says they were serving a search warrant for a wanted suspect at a house.

Initially, the suspect appeared to not be home.

But on further inspection (and likely flash bang explosions, etc.), he was found hiding in an unlikely part of the house.

“He was located hiding in a bedroom attic crawlspace, buried in insulation,” Sgt. Ryan Abbott told The B-Town Blog.

Well, at least he was staying warm, and will likely remain warm in his new housing arrangement…
