A possible road rage-related shooting occurred near the AM/PM Mini Market on Ambaum Blvd. SW and SW 136th Street in Burien late Monday afternoon.

A large police turnout and search resulted, including the King County Sheriff’s Guardian One helicopter.

Police say that a pedestrian was almost struck by a vehicle, which ended up turning into a physical altercation between the pedestrian and occupants of the car.

The pedestrian was shot in the leg and taken to Harborview Medical Center.

Police add that one suspect is in custody, and that two others escaped in another vehicle.

There was a large search in the surrounding area, including in/near Shorewood on the Sound and Seahurst Park to the west and Chelsea Park to the east.
