Police say that late Tuesday night (March 20), a 45-year old male was arrested by King County Sheriff Deputies in Burien and was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of Murder 2nd degree.

As we previously reported, on Sunday morning just after 1 a.m., a motorist was driving on 1st Ave South near SW 136th Street when he heard a gunshot and saw a male lying on the shoulder of the road. The suspect – described only as a male in dark clothing – was seen walking/running away from the scene.

KCSO/Burien Police Deputies arrived on-scene quickly and found a male lying unresponsive on the side of 1st Ave South. Deputies provided CPR to the victim while they waited for medics to arrive. Once Medics arrived they continued life saving measures and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

An extensive K9 track was conducted for the suspect, but he was not located at the time.
