Burien’s new Flight Path is hosting a Food Drive to benefit ‘Project Now’ to help ensure kids in the Highline School District have the food they need on the weekends.

In addition to collecting donations, they are going to take 10% of all sales made this Friday (March 30), and use that to buy even more food to supplement the food drive.

“So come down, raise a pint and help us raise some money to stock the shelves of an amazing program helping our youth focus on school and well being, and not on being hungry.”

Here’s more info from Flight Pat’s Dan Austin:

All this week we are collecting food for Project NOW to help stock the food pantries at local Highline schools so kids have food on the weekends. If you bring 5 or more items we will extend an offer for 10% off your regularly priced food and beverage purchases.

To double down on our efforts we will be taking 10% of our sales on Friday, 3/30 and use the money to buy even more food to make sure these kids can focus on learning and not on being hungry.

Drop off items throughout this week or stop in on Friday and just enjoy some food and drinks!
