The City of Burien is inviting the community to a Town Hall discussion on how to engage youth and enhance community safety on Monday, April 9. In the wake of the tragic death of two teens last week, the City is convening a conversation about how to prevent future violence in our community. WHEN: Monday, April 9, from 7–9 p.m. WHERE: Burien Library, first floor Multipurpose Room, 400 SW 152nd Street, Burien, WA 98166 The following public officials and staff will be present:

  • Burien City Councilmembers
  • Interim Burien Police Chief Marcus Williams
  • City Manager Brian J. Wilson
City staff from multiple departments, including Human Services, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services, and Communications departments. Light refreshments and interpretation for Spanish and Vietnamese will be provided.
