The Highline Pirates Baseball team is loaded with Seniors this year! They are currently 7-1 in conference play, losing a close game to River Ridge on Monday before coming back to beat them in the last inning on Tuesday, April 3, at Moshier Field. Christian Hagler was the starting pitcher and David Perkins the closer. There was plenty of base stealing and action on the field to keep the crowd wondering who would win, as the mostly Junior River Ridge team proved to be a worthy opponent for the Pirates. The next Pirate home game is this Saturday, April 7, at 10 am, assuming it doesn’t get rained out! As always, more photos and details are available at Highline Baseball and Softball. The Pirates earn the right to play at Safeco by selling Mariner tickets for the 7 pm game on June 29th against the Kansas City Royals. The 300 level seats are $15 each and are available until the day of the game. There are limited 100 level seats available for $30, but they must be paid for by April 15.
