Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect and suspect vehicle from a robbery in Burien that happened to a 13-year old student on Wednesday, April 18. Police say that on Wednesday at 2:53 p.m. an armed robbery occurred in Burien near the 15800 block of 1st Ave S.:

  • Suspect 1 ran up to the 13-year-old victim with a handgun and demanded the victim’s backpack.
  • The victim fought back and a shot was fired during the struggle. No one was hit.
  • Suspect 2 went over to assist Suspect 1.
  • The suspects eventually got the backpack and fled in a Suzuki SX4. There was a third person involved who drove the vehicle.
King County Major Crimes Detectives need the public’s help to identify the suspects in this incident. The sketch below is of Suspect #1, who drew the weapon and struggled with the victim. There is no sketch of suspect #2.
