Burien Mayor Jimmy Matta will speak at a meeting of PSARA (Puget Sound Advocates for Retirement Action) on May 10.

Matta was elected to the Burien City Council in November, 2017, and was chosen as Mayor of the city in January, 2018.

PSARA is a multi-generational organization dedicated to fighting for a secure retirement for all. For more than 30 years, PSARA has been a forceful advocate for older Americans, their children, and their families.

“PSARA’s Southend Committee is pleased to host Jimmy Matta for an open and informative conversation. All are invited to join us to talk about how we can work together to address the needs of Burien’s older residents.”

WHEN: Thursday, May 10, 1:00 p.m.

WHERE: Burien City Council Chambers, Burien Library, 400 SW 152nd Street, Burien.

INFO: All are welcome. The discussion with the Mayor will be followed by PSARA’s regular meeting, which takes place the second Thursday of every month.
