This Saturday, June 9, the Exchange Club of Highline will be holding their annual Toilet Paper Drive.

Butt wait – why a Toilet Paper Drive? You ask…?

Did you know that you can’t buy toilet paper with food stamps?

The local Exchange Club will be passing out requests to shoppers asking that they pick up an extra pack of TP in the grocery store, and turn it over to the members of Exchange as they leave the store.

At the end of the day, all collected toilet paper will be delivered to local food banks.

Last year, 20,000 rolls of toilet paper were donated to local food banks!

UPDATE: Saturday’s Toilet Paper Drive will be held at the QFC in Normandy Park; on June 16 they’ll be at Five Corners Shopping Center.

Look for a Ryder truck with a banner on it parked in the QFC parking lot at 17847 1st Ave S, Normandy Park:
