REMINDER: There will be a whole lot of swashbuckling going on at Lake Burien School Memorial Park this Saturday, July 28 as GreenStage and the Burien Arts Association present the beloved adventure tale, “The Three Musketeers.”

The FREE performance of Alexandre Dumas’ exciting play begins at 7 p.m. The play is produced by GreenStage and sponsored by the Burien Arts Association.

The production has it all – dueling, intrigue, clandestine love, political scheming and…even more dueling.

A favorite for generations, “The Three Musketeers” has appeared on stage, the movie screen, television and even in cartoons.

“We have some tremendously talented stage combatants in Seattle and I look forward to setting them loose,” says Erin Day, GreenStage artistic director.

“The characters are all huge and dynamic,” Day added. “I like the juxtaposition of d’Artagnan’s innocence, honor and nobility in contrast to most of the other characters; his youth and eagerness to make his way contrasted to the complacency or avarice with which the others move through the world.”
