Dan the Sausageman nominated for county’s 2018 ‘Small Business of the Year’

Burien business Dan the Sausageman was nominated for the King County’s Executive’s Small Business of the Year for 2018.

As if being named “Small Business of the Year” for Washington State by the Small Business Administration earlier this year wasn’t enough!

As we previously reported, on Monday, April 30, Burien’s own Danny ‘Dan the Sausageman’ House was awarded as the 2018 Small Business Person of the Year for the state of Washington at the US Institute of Peace in the other Washington, D.C.:

The award will be given out at a special breakfast this Thursday, Sept. 20.

The eighth annual King County Executive’s Small Business Awards will be held Thursday morning, Sept. 20, at the Meydenbauer Convention Center in Bellevue.

“Over 200 small business owners, entrepreneurs, and supporters of small business from across the County are expected to attend and show their support for this year’s finalists and winners. The event this year will celebrate and honor the success of small business with a continental breakfast, finalist displays, and recognition of this year’s winners.”
