[EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is a Letter to the Editor, written by a Reader. It does not necessarily reflect the opinion of The B-Town Blog nor its staff:]

Dear Editor,

As The B-Town Blog is a voice of news, events, and people of our beloved community of Burien, I simply have to speak out about the shooting that killed an innocent person at the Chiropractic clinic on September 19th. I live four blocks from where the clinic is. I have never been to the clinic nor have I ever visited a Chiropractor. This event and senseless death crushes me and I have no connection to the persons involved…it’s just that it happened in Burien, my home. I cannot imagine the grief the family of the victim is experiencing.

I was somewhat satisfied today (Thursday), when the news broke that they made arrests on Wednesday night. Sadly, it won’t bring back the mother of several and grandmother of four.

Our city of Burien is better than this. My only thoughts are to encourage all to stand up and do the right thing, be an example, be kind to others, say thank you, teach your children well, and address or report things that may seem wrong or slight of the law.

It’s up to each one of us to make a difference.

Thank you Burien PD and KCSO for your diligent work and a resolution to this matter. I’m grateful. If you’re in a local restaurant or coffee shop and Burien PD is there, buy their meal and thank them.

Love one another.

– Ron Hull
