Highline High School’s Key Club will be holding a Multicultural Night on Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 5-7 p.m. in Highline High’s Cafeteria.

This event is intended to showcase the diversity within the Highline and Burien/Seattle communities, while raising money for this year’s PNW Key Club District Project – Thirst Project, the world’s largest youth water organization.

During this event, there will be performances, a fashion show, a potluck, and booths set up around the room.

Here’s more info:

Not only is this event dedicated towards celebrating each other’s culture, it is also raising awareness to Thirst Project, a nonprofit organization seeking to end the global water crisis through the education and activation of young people. All public donations and fundraising dollars go directly toward clean water projects, which primarily consists of deep borehole wells. All of the funds that we raise will go directly towards the drilling, surveying, installation and pump materials that are required to build a well in the country of Swaziland. Highline Key Club’s goal is to raise $300 from this event through attendees’ donations.

Did we mention there will be cultural performances and a fashion show? We sure did! If you would like to participate in the fashion show and/or perform something that represents your culture, please out the corresponding form(s):

Please help us spread the word about this event! We need YOUR help to make this night a successful one!
