The Kennedy Catholic High School Lancers defeated the Kentridge High School Chargers 68–41 Friday night in the rain at Highline Memorial Stadium.

By the way, that’s the final score for a high school football game, NOT basketball.

The win advances the Lancers to the Week 10 district playoffs, where they will take on 4th-ranked Puyallup (8-1) this coming Friday (Nov. 2) at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup.

Despite being known for an amazing air attack via QB Sam Huard, this game was mostly won on the ground, with Justin Baker gaining 198 yards on 15 carries, scoring twice on runs of 54 and 4 yards, and also dashing to the endzone on a 78-yard kickoff return.

Huard was 6 for 11 for 118 yards.
