The first round of results for Tuesday’s General Election are in, and here are the early returns:

Legislative District 34 State Senator:

  • Joe Nguyen (Prefers Democratic Party): 27,440 • 57.39%
  • Shannon Braddock (Prefers Democratic Party): 20,373 • 42.61%

Total Votes (not including write-ins): 47,813

Congressional District 7 U.S. Representative (statewide results):

  • Pramila Jayapal (Prefers Democratic Party): 224,351 • 83.38%
  • Craig Keller (Prefers Republican Party): 44,732 • 16.62%

Total Votes (not including write-ins): 251,441

United States U.S. Senator (statewide results):

  • Maria Cantwell (Prefers Democratic Party): 985,771 • 60.49%
  • Susan Hutchison (Prefers Republican Party): 643,866 • 39.51%
