Hotel finalists, finances, gun safety on agenda for Monday Council Study Session

On the agenda for Monday night’s Burien City Council Study Session are discussions on two hotel developer finalists, general fund financial plans, gun safety, an update on economic development and more.

City staff will recommend consideration of two hotel developer finalists:

  • Hotel Concepts
  • Hyatt Place

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26 at City Hall, located at 400 SW 152nd Street.

SPECIAL MEETING 5:15 p.m.:

  • 
To Hold an Executive Session to Discuss Potential Litigation per RCW 42.30.110(1)(i)(iii).
  • Interview Hotel Developer Teams. As part of the Hotel Development Request for Proposals (RFP) and selection process, City Council will interview the finalists of the RFP process. Two hotel development teams will have the opportunity to present their proposal and the qualifications of their team, as well as answer any questions from the City Council.
