Highline Public Schools on Wednesday (Dec. 5) released its 2017-18 Annual Report, which can be accessed in an interactive format below:

“We are committed to sharing the progress we are making towards our goals. This report shows you where we have seen gains and where we have not. We have much to celebrate,” Superintendent Susan Enfield said. “Our graduation rate has risen for the fifth consecutive year to 81.1 percent. In areas where we did not make progress, we are analyzing our results and learning from them so we can do better.”

The online report, built with data visualization software, gives users an opportunity to explore district data – broken out by strategic goal, school, year and student group. Users can review student demographic data. Scroll over numbers and graphs, and pop-ups will appear with more information.

Since Highline is embarking on the first year of their updated strategic plan, this report shares how they will measure new goals in the years ahead.

“I am proud of the work we have done in the last several years, but there is more to be done. We are not backing down on our goals. We are focused now more than ever on improving our graduation rate and closing our achievement and opportunity gaps,” Enfield added.
