Port of Seattle seeking Volunteers to help test Sea-Tac Airport’s new North Satellite

The Port of Seattle is seeking Volunteers to help test and launch the modernized North Satellite [1] at Sea-Tac Airport.

The Port of Seattle seeks residents to participate in its “Full Scale Passenger Experience Simulation” for the North Satellite Modernization project at the airport.

“We are seeking 175 volunteers to help test processes and procedures for phase one of the North Satellite Modernization project, which is the expansion of the 45-year-old facility to better serve passengers with more choices and amenities for an enhanced travel experience,” the Port said. “This phase will open new gates on the west end of the facility.”

Volunteers will act as passengers to simulate various functions and amenities before the facility opens to the public on Jan. 23, 2019:

WHEN: Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

WHERE: Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

TARGET AUDIENCE: Members of the traveling public, students from the surrounding airport communities, and aviation enthusiasts.
