Emergency response Saturday night was for man who cut his own throat

Around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night, Jan. 26, there was a large police/emergency response near SW 153rd Street and Ambaum Blvd. SW, reacting to a man who cut his own throat.

Police say that a man in his 30s, wearing a gray hoodie and jeans, cut his own throat, and had climbed on top of a dumpster at an apartment complex and refused to come down.

The man’s injuries were serious, and he was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

His current condition is unknown.
