St. Francis of Assisi School will be presenting Disney’s ‘Mulan Jr.’ this Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Highline Performing Arts Center.

Join us as we tell a “wandering hero” story that originated in Asia where the tale is told in many versions. After making a mess of her betrothal ceremony and bringing shame to her family, a young woman leaves her home to join the army. While she is eventually discovered to be a girl, her adventures include saving the lives of her “fellow” soldiers and defeating the Huns. Mulan is honored by the Emperor, and upon returning home, she is surprised by a visit from her captain who now becomes her suitor.

Performances will be this Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Highline Performing Arts Center, located at 401 South 152nd Street in Burien.

Tickets can be purchased for $10 each at the school office or the ticket office on the night of performance.

This is the 16th year that St. Francis School has been performing their all-school musical.
