JOB: General Contractor seeking Office/Jobsite Assistant to Owner

We are a Burien-based general contracting/painting business that has been operating for 41 years.

We specialize in high-end lead paint remediation, historic home restoration and clients whose personal health is affected by indoor/outdoor air quality, and many commonly-used building materials.

The position will be Assisting/Administrating in two main areas:

1. Office
a. General organization and operations
b. Customer acquisition and retention
c. Proposals and invoices
** Proficiency in office administration/management required

2. Jobsite
a. General project organization, operation and support
b. Looking at projects/meeting with clients
c. Work crew support
**Experience in construction or jobsite assistance ideal, but not mandatory – will train

This is ideal for someone who is active and likes the balance (and variety) of working both inside an office environment, as well as on a jobsite (both inside and outside).

The initial work schedule would be Sunday through Thursday from 7 AM until 3:30 PM. Once settled in and established, the days of the week will likely change to Monday through Friday.

This is a full-time position.
