On March 4, 2019 at about 9:10 p.m. in the 15100 block of SE 141st Place in Renton (map below), a husband, wife and two older teenage sons were home when three suspects one white male, one black male and one unknown race male forced their way inside demanding methamphetamine and money.
Police say that the wife, who is in cancer treatment, told them they had no meth, but offered the suspects a small safe containing her cancer medications, which they took.
The husband was pistol whipped on the head and the older teenaged boys were forced to the floor at gunpoint.
The suspects also took hundreds of dollars in cash and three cell phones. Two of the three phones were located during the initial response. One was found very near the house and the other a few miles away in a grocery store parking lot. Both looked as if they were tossed from a car.
The sedan pictured is believed to be the suspect vehicle – it was seen in the area the night of the home invasion robbery. The SUV (also pictured) was seen around the neighborhood a few days prior to the robbery possibly casing the victim’s residence. It’s believed the two vehicles are related.
The mask (pictured below), is similar to what the suspects wore at the time of the robbery.
