FOLLOWUP: Victim of fatal two-house fire identified as Roland Kennedy, 70

On Friday, July 5, the King County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim of Thursday night’s fatal two-house fire as Roland Kennedy, 70.

The official cause of death was “toxic asphyxia due to smoke inhalation.”

As we previously reported, Kennedy was killed when he was trapped in a house in the 10200 block of 10th Ave S. (map below) Thursday night, July 4.

While an official cause of the fire has not yet been released, Q13 Fox says that neighbors believe it was caused by fireworks.
