The City of Burien announced Friday that it will be holding a public hearing on Monday, June 18, 2012, for the purpose of receiving public comments on the 2013 through 2018 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
“The public is encouraged to participate by providing the Council with their comments on the 2013-2018 Transportation Improvement Program,” reads an announcement. “The primary importance of the Six (6) Year Transportation Improvement Program is that, in most cases, local projects must be included in the TIP to be eligible for state and federal grant programs.”
The hearing will be in the Council Chambers at Burien City Hall, 400 SW 152nd Street, at approximately 7:00 p.m.
