Even though it’s actually a credit card company promotion, this Saturday (Nov. 26) is devoted to helping local, small businesses on what is one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year.
We’re asking all our Readers to shop and spend locally, on what we’re re-naming ‘Small Biz Saturday,’ not because we like to change names, but because if we used the “real” name (which is a ®registered trademark® BTW), we could get in legal trouble. Bleh.
Everyone knows that when you shop locally, you help yourselves, so just do it.
(but don’t use a credit card unless you have to!)
