The first Makeover Burien project will begin Friday, Feb. 24 and continue through Monday, Feb. 27 at Glass Expressions, located at 648 SW 152nd Street!
Volunteers are still needed to help during this part of the project to move things, paint, clean and do general ‘grunt work.’ Please RSVP to help@makeoverburien.com and let us know what you can do!
A grand re-opening is scheduled for 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28.
Here’s what’s planned:
- The owners will receive complimentary teeth whitening from Dr. Jim Coleman.
- They’ll also receive a full salon and spa makeover from Serenza Salon & Spa.
- Daryl Whalen of Healthy Painting will be coordinating the painting, which will begin Friday, Feb. 24.
- Patti Gifford of Keller Williams has secured new flooring that will be installed over the weekend.
- Michelle Codd of Poggi Bonsi and Melinda Keane of Serenza have drawn up a re-merchandising plan and will be coordinating that effort after the painting and flooring.
- The B-Town Blog is donating Ad Space and will coordinate with the Owners for their messaging.
- Butcher paper will be placed over the windows during the makeover, with a goal of putting contributor’s logos (or at least names) on it.
“Thanks for caring about our community and your neighbors,” said Organizer Daniel Keane.
