The Highline Historical Society, in conjunction with the South King County Genealogical Society, will be holding an introductory series of classes for people interested in researching their family tree on three Saturdays – Feb. 25, March 3 and March 10.
The classes will take place at the Family History Center at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 14020 Ambaum Blvd. SW in Burien.
“Are you interested in learning more about your ancestors and where they came from?” reads a press release. “Do you need help in figuring out how and where to start?”
Each session will last two hours and will be led by genealogy experts Winona Laird and David Liesse. Among the topics discussed will be record types, databases, software, and more.
