The City of Burien will be holding a community ‘Meet and Greet’ with Mural Artist Augustina Droze from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4 at the Dollar Tree back parking lot.
“Come by to learn more about the mural process, have some cake provided by the Dollar Tree, find your own creativity with a hands-on art project, and meet Bucky the Dollar Tree Mascot!” reads an announcement.
Funded by the City of Burien 1% for Art Fund, the aim of the new mural is to “bring a new focal point to our city. The work is being created by Augustina and a fabulous group of community volunteers.”
The Burien Dollar Tree Back Parking Lot is located at 4th & 151st SW.
Event is weather permitting.
